Harrassed with an eye infection

Yesterday I felt really harrassed by this one client. She wanted to be able to cut and paste information from a web page into a text or word document. However she is running old and outdated software and operating system so it wasn't working properly. I don't believe its my fault that some companies choose to take the cheaper alternative and not upgrade!! Anyway, she keeps calling me and debating with me as to whether the problem she is experiencing is a limitation to our software or a browser problem. I find out later that she's schizophrenic. Great...

I think it becomes an OHS issue when I have to deal with unstable people. I was starting to get really annoyed at her. My other problem is that I've got this slight eye infection which is preventing me from wearing my contact lenses. So I've been wearing my trendy but uncomfortable glasses. Its such a pain and I look like such a nerd (they're trendy glasses but not perhaps not on me). So not only do I have to deal with weirdos, but in uncomfortable glasses at the same time. Despite the fact that I hate wearing glassses, I still persist on purchasing a new pair every year even though my eyesight has remained the same for the last five years.

On a much more fun note, I've discovered iPodder. A software that allows me to download other people's podcasts so I can listen to them on my MP3 player. Love it. Although I have downloaded a few dodgy ones which don't play on my MP3 player. Ahhh.. wish I had an iPod but that is outright commercial consumerism as I already have a fully functional MP3 player that Nathan bought me for my birthday.
